One used his celebrity to advocate for civil rights and one successfully argued for the Supreme Court to overturn Prop 8--and they are both taking your questions.

Jim Brown and Ted Olson will be answering msnbc reader questions from the Civil Rights Summit at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin, Texas.

Brown, a Hall of Fame player for the Cleveland Browns, has spent his post-NFL time as a civil rights activist working with inner-city youth.

Ted Olson has said that successfully challenging California's Proposition 8 ban on same-sex marriage before the Supreme Court was the "highlight" of his career.

"This is the most important thing we’ve done in our lives. It’s not just become a legal challenge, but it’s about the hearts and minds of a country changing," Olson told The Washington Post in 2012.
